You have changed after marriage....

Have you heard people saying to their spouses that you have changed after marriage?

Recently one of my friends was telling me about this one. One of his relatives who had a love marriage after a long relationship of more than five years is suffering in married life. The couple often fights and blames each other that before the wedding, you were not like this.

I am sure you must have also heard this many times somewhere or other. Even in some of the movies, actors blame each other that " How much you have changed after marriage?"

Other than those psychological and behavioral reasons such as taking for granted etc. let's try to understand this astrologically and what we can do to avoid this.

As per astrology, love relationships are represented by the 5th house and 5th lord or Leo. As a planet, Mercury represents boyfriends- girlfriends. Whereas after marriage, souse becomes our 7th house and hence 7th house and 7th lord will represent one's spouse. From the planet's perspective, Mars ( for a woman) and Venus ( for a man) represent spouse.

Now, as you can notice, the entire equation is changing. The condition of 5th house and 5th lord must be fine with positive aspects, and Mercury might be fine in the chart, and hence love relationship might have blossomed between people in the first place. But after marriage, when the house, lordship, and planets are changing, there might be a possibility that the entire new equation is coming under the malefic influence. Maybe because of afflicted sun, Ego is coming in one of the partners or because of afflicted Mars aggression. Maybe Venus or Rahu in inducing a lot of materiality in one of the partner or maybe Ketu or Jupiter is making one of the partners very spiritual. There can be hundreds of things which might be happening and hence which might be giving a strained relationship.

All these can happen even in an arranged marriage as well. Sometimes couples might experience strained relationships for some time in their lives. These mostly happen either due to some malefic transit or bad Dasha involving 7th house or 7th lord.

One of the best ways to handle these scenarios is to change oneself through Karma and attitude. If there is a feeling of sharing my life with you, sometimes things might go wrong. However, if there is an attitude of let's share this life together, those kinds of relations go a long way. All it requires some change in attitude and actions, and then the universe may take care of the rest of it.

All these above points are more generic and give you a perspective of why the relationship between the same two people can go southward even after a long term intimacy. So next time when you hear something like this, hope you can advise the couple for the right actions. For more accurate results, an individual's chart and Desh-Kaal-Patra need to be analyzed.
