I am going to write about the annual Solar Eclipse, which is happening on 21st June, approximately starting at 9:15 AM and going till 3:15 PM. This eclipse is mostly visible from countries in Asia and Africa.

Just as a refresher, astronomically solar eclipse happens when the Moon comes in between Sun and Earth. Thus, the light from the Sun couldn't reach the Earth, and we feel darkness during the day.

Astrologically speaking, a solar eclipse is caused by Moon's north or south nodes: Rahu and Ketu. This time Solar eclipse is happening in Gemini in Mrigsira nakshatra. It has another special significance. Another important thing to notice is that many planets are retrograde at the moment.

For individuals who have significant Gemini sign, either Gemini Lagna people or planets in Gemini, the eclipse might have some results. Either result will be positive or negative will depend on how Mercury is in the chart and what all combinations it has. Usually, the results come in a period of 1 week to 6 months.

In general, as a best practice, we all can follow certain things during this time. Generally, we should not eat or drink during this time or at least avoid as much as possible. We should possibly try not to venture out during this time. The best things to do during this time are to meditate, relax, and pray to almighty for the greater good of the world. Generally, it is said to be good to have a bath post eclipse. Also, one can donate post the eclipse as per one's capacity and wish.

Since it is also coinciding with 21st June, the World's Yoga day, so performing meditation and Yoga are also one of the best things to do during the day.

Stay put, stay relaxed, and keep remembering the almighty. Om Shanti!!
