Our life is like a video game

Today's topic is one of the most basic ones. Our lives are like a video game. I am sure that most of us while growing up, must have watched or played video games. What is one of the most common features of any game?

Most of the games have different levels. As one does better in a level and completes it, one moves to the next level. When one moves to the next level, one gets some more powers and lifelines. But at the same time, the hurdles, challenges also increases in the higher levels. The ultimate objectives of most of these games are to either achieve some treasures or accomplish some goals.

Our lives are very similar. In each life, we have to cross certain levels, and the universe wants us to get perfected in those areas. As we progress to those levels in our lives in the form of our Karma, the universe gives us tests. These tests are very similar to the various obstacles encountered in video games. All these Karmas and hence tests are mostly pre-decided. And the universe gives us many chances to perfect a Karma assigned to us.

For example, let's say a Karma assigned to a soul is not to accumulate un-earned resources. Life will take tests in many forms at different ages of life. The difficulty level of tests will increase with passing time and how much time we are consuming to learn it. For example, in childhood, one might get a lot of chocolates and toys of others' shares like siblings or cousins. In school or college, a person might be lucky to get assignments done or get notes from others without hard work or even copy in exams. In professional life, a person might be intentionally or unintentionally getting credit for others' hard work. A person might get an inheritance from one wife's family or others. And then some people even might have a motto of life to snatch everything of others. The universe will keep throwing tests after tests unless you finally learn, and a tick mark of a trait happens. The ultimate goal of a soul is to be pure.

You will mostly find some patterns in life as similar kinds of events will keep repeating, and if one doesn't get it exhausted the first time, tests will get tougher each time.

As per astrology, the 10th house in a horoscope represents our Karma. It has a balance of all the Karma assigned to us in this life. But this house is a Upachaya house, meaning we will have certain freewill. If we choose not to perform a Karma, then it gets accumulated in the soul's Karma Log. But anything delayed will come to a great degree in the next lifetimes. If a Karma is postponed more, it might become chronic, and become so-called 6,8 or 12 house in future lives, where generally even remedies will not work.

In summary, what I am trying to convey is that this life is a perfect opportunity to get some Karma exhausted. Let's keep moving level by level in this Universe video game so that one day our soul can achieve Nirvana or final level of the game and become pure.
