Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus

Why is it said that one's spouse completes one? Why elders advise getting settled in life for it to complete? I will not talk about the psychological point of view or moral point of view etc. Let's understand this purely from the Astrology point of view today.

In a person's horoscope, the 7th house represents one's spouse, the most intimate relationships, partnerships along with partnership in general. We all know that probably the marriage is a partnership that lasts the longest. Also, the 1st house represents us, our body, personality, character, etc.

Now in a horoscope, the 7th house is bang opposite to 1st house, meaning they might be poles apart. Always these two houses will be occupied by exactly opposite signs, and that's what the universe wants. Universe wants us to develop opposing qualities, and in the form of help, we get our spouses.

Let's understand this from an example. For Aries Lagna people, the 7th house is Libra. Arians are known for energy, enthusiasm, fire, initiation, ego, and a lot of I, me. They take this individualism to an extreme. Just imagine what they require in life. They require influence in life, which teaches them to balance, interpersonal relationships. This world is not only about oneself; it's beyond. That's exactly what one's spouse brings in. It completes their perspectives and broadens their horizon. From a lordship perspective, in this example, Mars is the owner of Aries whereas Venus is the owner of Libra. That's why we say our spouse compliments us, and together we make a complete unit.
