Today I am going to talk about our actions, the Karma. We all do Karma knowingly or unknowingly, willingly or unwillingly, selfish or selfless, sometimes good, and sometimes bad. This is part and parcel of our daily household lives, and that's why we are born.
Sri Lord Krishna says in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta:
"Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana ।
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani ।।"
This means that our right is to perform our duties and not bother about the results. Here Karma, the action is implicitly related to Dharma, the responsibility.
Probably we understand that whatever good or bad deeds we are doing, those are going to come to us in this lifetime and beyond. But what we fail to understand is that it not only impacts us but also to people who are related to us.
For example, if someone does bad Karma, it also might impact one's child's health. It can also affect his or her child's performance in competitive examinations. It also might impact one's father's family or father's wealth. It also might affect one's spouse's emotions and domestic happiness. It also might influence siblings' life. So one bad Karma of ours can create so much of chain reactions, which we don't even realize. Opposite of this is also true. If we do good deeds, it not only blesses us but also to all these people in our lives.
Just to give you another example, you must have also heard that poor parents' children became IAS, topped school/ board, came as a first rank holder in civil services exams. Just imagine why that's happening? One of the possible explanations could be that children get the blessings of parents' good deeds and performed well in a competition.
As per Vedic Astrology, the ruler of Karma is Saturn. It is said that when Saturn wants to give someone, no one else matches. And if Saturn wants to punish someone no one can dare to stop.
So just food for thought. Keep doing good work. Stay happy and stay blessed!!
