In the pursuit of Inner Truth

Today I am going to discuss an important topic; the inner truth. It is only going to be a humble attempt towards awakening.

Over the years, many sages have taught us the path of finding the truth, but processes might be complicated.

Let's first try to understand what is intellect. Intellect is the faculty of the mind to arrive at an understanding. Understanding is of mainly two kinds: perception-based and spiritualized. Perceptive intelligence derives understanding from what one perceives, and it might not always be the truth. Also, this understanding is influenced by our perceptions, feelings, attitudes, and past experiences. In other words, it's like all that glitters are not gold. And hence we can say that perceptive intelligence only allows us to arrive at limited understanding and which might not be the truth. Most of us are on this plane. Thanks to social media and other media, we have more avenues to get influenced by form perceptions about many things. So, we mostly live in the Perceptive Intelligence world.

Spiritualized intellect is attracted to what's real and hence help us determine what is real. This intellect is not based on perceptions and emotions; it is pure. However, in mundane life, these are like two phases. We start with the first phase and those who are more spiritually awakened move from the first phase to next. True sages mostly live their lives in the stage of spiritualized intellect. That's why it said that they neither have desires to gain nor fear to lose anything.

To navigate this journey, one should have a good, non-afflicted Mercury in the horoscope as Mercury rules the Buddhi, and helps in awakening both types of intellect. Or one needs to strengthen one's Mercury by fulfilling Mercury significations.

Hence its more important to develop Spiritual intellect either through meditation, spiritual practices, yoga, or other means to find the inner truth within self-being.
